The Foro de Amigos del Sur de Tenerife, better known as FAST, is preparing for its 16th Solidarity Gala, with this year’s event raising money for a particularly important cause.
The gala will take place on Friday 2 October at the Mare Nostrum Resort in Playa de Las Américas, with entry via the Pirámide de Arona.
Proceedings begin at 7.30pm.
Supporting No Somos de Segunda
This year, the money raised will go to No Somos de Segunda, an association founded in Arona which works across the Canary Islands to promote equal access to palliative care.
The organisation campaigns for people with advanced illnesses to have access to appropriate care, dignity and support regardless of where they live.
It’s one of those subjects nobody particularly wants to think about until it affects someone close to them. Which is precisely why organisations doing this sort of work deserve a bit of support.
Tickets and Tables
Tickets for the gala cost €100 per person.
Companies, organisations or groups can also book a table for ten people for €1,000.

The annual gala brings together businesses, professionals, institutions and residents from across south Tenerife, with FAST once again using its ability to get people in a room for a good cause.
