La Laguna Summer Festival Agenda: 17 to 21 August 2026

Local festivities bring music, family activities and plenty of summer atmosphere to Candelaria, Camino Tornero, Geneto, San Roque and Tejina

There’s no shortage of things going on around La Laguna this week, with local fiestas taking place across several neighbourhoods from 17 to 21 August.

From children’s shows and foam parties to live music, beauty contests and traditional celebrations, there’s something happening pretty much every day.

Candelaria Festivities

The Candelaria festivities get underway on 19 August with the opening ceremony at 21:00.

  • 19 August: 21:00, opening ceremony
  • 20 August: 21:00, children’s, baby and junior queen contests
  • 21 August: 21:00, curvy and adult queen contests, followed by a dance at 23:30

There will also be children’s bouncy castles on 19 August at 11:00, while the concert ‘Ahora Te Jodes’ takes place at 23:00 on 21 August.

Santa Rosa de Lima in Camino Tornero

The Santa Rosa de Lima celebrations in Camino Tornero begin on 20 August with the opening ceremony.

The following evening, 21 August, brings a party night to round off the celebrations.

San Bartolomé in Geneto

The festivities in Geneto begin on 20 August at 20:00 with the opening ceremony.

On 21 August, the programme continues with:

  • 11:00: Youth passport event
  • 18:00: Afternoon announcement event
  • 20:00: Youth night party

San Roque Festivities

There’s a particularly busy programme in San Roque, with activities running throughout the week.

17 August

  • 16:00, children’s show ‘Tonino and Carolina’
  • 17:00, exhibition of harnessed animals

18 August

  • 17:00, children’s games
  • 18:00, children’s entertainment

19 August

  • 16:00, pet exhibition and food collection
  • 16:30, pet parade
  • 17:30, dessert competition

20 August

  • 16:00, foam party

21 August

  • 21:00, concert featuring Los Cantadores

Tejina Festivities

Tejina also has a packed programme, including music, entertainment and a blood donation campaign at Plaza del Ramal.

So, if you’re around La Laguna this week, there’s plenty happening without having to go very far. Local fiestas are usually where you get the best mix of music, food, family events and a bit of traditional Tenerife atmosphere.
