La Candelaria and El Paredón will celebrate a full week of fiestas from 11 to 17 August, with a programme combining traditional celebrations, music, family activities, food and plenty of entertainment.
Organised by the 2026 Fiestas Committee, the programme includes religious events, live performances, children’s activities, a wine tasting and several evenings of music and dancing.

Tuesday 11 August
The celebrations begin with a dessert competition at 18:00, followed at 21:00 by a special gala marking the 50th anniversary of the parish.
Wednesday 12 August
At 17:00, there will be an Escala Hi-Fi performance, bringing another evening of entertainment to the programme.
Thursday 13 August
Thursday brings a particularly varied programme.
At 17:00, visitors can enjoy an exhibition and workshop with Los Guanches, followed by a wine tasting at 20:00.
The evening finishes with DJ West from 22:00.
Friday 14 August
The religious celebrations begin at 17:30 with Holy Mass followed by a procession.
On its return, the celebrations continue with performances from Kevin Pérez and David Padilla.
Saturday 15 August
The programme continues from 10:00 with activities for children.
At 17:30, there will be Mass and a procession featuring the traditional Los Guanches exhibition.
The evening then moves into music, with Orquesta Kimbara performing from 23:00.
Sunday 16 August
Sunday begins with more children’s activities from 10:00.
At 18:00, the programme continues with a variety show, followed by dancing with Generación Zero from 20:00.
Monday 17 August
The final day of the celebrations begins at 18:00 with the flag presentation, followed by pelana and dancing with Los Volcánicos.
After a full week of activities, the fiestas will come to a close with one final evening of music and community celebration.
It looks like the sort of week where you probably shouldn’t make too many plans elsewhere.
