Some of Spain’s biggest names in fine dining will come together in Tenerife this autumn as Albert Adrià joins Juan Carlos and Jonathan Padrón for an exclusive culinary event celebrating the island’s gastronomy, landscapes and world-famous night skies.
The 11th edition of Inspirational Chef Stories will take place on 28th and 29th November 2026 at the Royal Hideaway Corales Resort in Costa Adeje. Sponsored by Taittinger, this year’s event will centre around the theme of astronomy, bringing together haute cuisine, science and Canarian identity in a unique two-day experience.
A Gastronomic Journey Inspired by the Stars
Guests will enjoy a programme featuring exclusive six-hand dinners prepared by the three chefs, alongside Inspirational Talks, meetings with experts and a visit to the Izaña Observatory on Mount Teide, one of the world’s leading astronomical research centres.
The event aims to showcase the connection between Tenerife’s exceptional skies, volcanic landscapes and rich culinary heritage, creating an immersive experience that blends gastronomy, culture and science.
A New Chapter for Inspirational Chef Stories
Since its launch in 2018, Inspirational Chef Stories has welcomed some of the world’s leading chefs to discover Tenerife through its producers, Atlantic ingredients and distinctive food culture.
Following ten successful editions, the project is now entering a new phase, with each event built around a different theme linked to the Canary Islands. The 2026 edition marks the beginning of this new concept, with astronomy serving as the inspiration for the entire programme.
Three Award-Winning Chefs
Albert Adrià is widely regarded as one of the pioneers of modern gastronomy. After helping revolutionise global cuisine at the legendary elBulli alongside his brother Ferran Adrià, he went on to create acclaimed restaurants including Tickets, Pakta, Bodega 1900, Hoja Santa, Heart Ibiza and Enigma, where he continues to develop his innovative culinary vision.
He will be joined by Juan Carlos and Jonathan Padrón, whose restaurant El Rincón de Juan Carlos, located within the Royal Hideaway Corales Resort, holds two Michelin stars and three Repsol Suns. Their cuisine celebrates Atlantic ingredients and Canarian traditions while combining technical precision with a contemporary approach.
Both Albert Adrià and the Padrón brothers have also been recognised at the DIARIO DE AVISOS Gastronomy Awards, underlining their influence on Spanish gastronomy.
