Costa Adeje Tenerife Egatesa Unveils Pre-Season Schedule Ahead of New Liga F Campaign

Costa Adeje Tenerife Egatesa has confirmed its pre-season programme as preparations begin for the 2026/27 Liga F Moeve season, with six friendly matches across the Canary Islands, mainland Spain and Morocco.

The squad, led by Yerai Martín, will face top-flight opposition, take part in a training camp in Navarra, and make history with the club’s first-ever international pre-season fixture in Morocco before the league kicks off at the end of August.

Pre-season begins in the Canary Islands

The team’s preparations get underway on Wednesday, 29 July, when they face RCD Espanyol at the Estadio Municipal de Los Pozos in Fuerteventura. Kick-off is scheduled for 6:15pm.

Just a few days later, on Saturday, 1 August, Costa Adeje Tenerife Egatesa will travel to Lanzarote to take on Sevilla FC in the San Ginés Tournament at the Ciudad Deportiva de Lanzarote in Arrecife. The match will also kick off at 5:15pm.

Return to Navarra

Following the fixtures in the Canary Islands, the squad will head to Tafalla (Navarra) for its now traditional pre-season training camp, held for the fourth consecutive year with the support of Binter.

During the stay, the team will play two more friendlies at Campo de Fútbol San Francisco:

  • 5 August: Athletic Club
  • 8 August: Deportivo Alavés (newly promoted to Liga F)

Both matches are scheduled to begin at 6:00pm (Canary Islands time).

Atlético de Madrid visit Tenerife

Back on the island, supporters will have the chance to see the team in action at the annual Trofeo Teide.

Costa Adeje Tenerife Egatesa will face Atlético de Madrid on Saturday, 15 August, at 6:15pm at Campo Municipal Los Cuartos in La Orotava. The fixture is expected to provide one of the toughest tests of pre-season against one of Spain’s strongest women’s teams.

Historic trip to Morocco

The club will conclude its preparations with a landmark international fixture in Agadir, Morocco, on Thursday, 20 August.

Costa Adeje Tenerife Egatesa will face a Souss-Massa regional select team, marking the club’s first-ever visit to Morocco in a match organised in collaboration with the Government of the Canary Islands.

Building on last season’s success

Sporting Director Jordi Torres described the programme as an important step in the club’s continued development.

He said the schedule had been designed to test the squad against high-quality opposition while strengthening team cohesion through training camps and giving supporters across the Canary Islands opportunities to see the team play. He also highlighted the significance of the club’s first international pre-season experience.

After securing an impressive fourth-place finish in Liga F last season, Costa Adeje Tenerife Egatesa will be aiming to build on that success as they prepare for another challenging campaign.
