Icod de los Vinos Celebrates Pride 2026 with Culture, Visibility and Inclusion

Icod de los Vinos will once again mark LGBTIQ+ Pride Month with a programme of activities focused on visibility, diversity, respect and equality.

The municipality’s Pride 2026 celebrations will take place between 24 and 29 June, combining literature, music, public events and art to promote a more inclusive society.

Pride 2026 Programme

📚 24 June | 6:00pm

📍 Former Convent of San Francisco (Municipal Library)

The programme begins with the presentation of “El jardín del invierno”, the latest book by Canarian author Daniel María.

🏳️‍🌈 25 June | 12:00pm

📍 Plaza Luis de León Huerta – Town Hall Steps

The official Pride flag raising ceremony will take place, accompanied by a performance from the Viridiana Choir.

📢 26 June | 11:00am

📍 Plaza del Adelantado, La Laguna

Icod will join the institutional reading of the Red Asterisco Pride Manifesto, alongside other municipalities committed to promoting LGBTQ+ rights and inclusion.

🎨 29 June | 6:00pm

📍 Juan Melchor de la Guardia Baute Sports Court

The closing event will feature participation from the Tacande Artistic Skating Club and the Norticod Amateur Futsal Association.

Celebrating Diversity

Through this programme, Icod de los Vinos aims to continue promoting values of equality, visibility and respect while creating spaces where diversity is celebrated and recognised.

The Pride 2026 events invite residents and visitors alike to come together in support of inclusion and to celebrate a community where everyone feels represented and welcome.
