Welcome to Summer 2026 in Santa Cruz de Tenerife (19 June 2026)

Santa Cruz de Tenerife is getting ready to welcome the summer season in style with the return of its popular Welcome to Summer celebration on Friday 19 June 2026.

Following the success of last year’s event, thousands of people dressed in white are expected to gather on the Port of Santa Cruz esplanade for an evening of Latin music, dancing and summer atmosphere by the sea.

✔ Location: Port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife
✔ Doors open: 7:00pm
✔ Event starts: 8:00pm
✔ Finishes: 1:00am

The event is expected to attract around 5,000 people.

Dress Code

There is one important requirement for entry.

✔ All attendees must wear white

Anyone not dressed in white will not be allowed access to the venue.

Pre-Event Dinner

Before the live music begins, 500 guests will enjoy a special dinner area within the event space.

The tickets for the dining area sold out in just a few minutes, highlighting the popularity of the event.

Live Music Schedule

Latin rhythms will be at the heart of the evening, with a line-up designed to keep the party going from start to finish.

DJ Brito

8:00pm to 8:30pm
12:30am to 1:00am

A well-known Tenerife DJ with more than 25 years of experience, specialising in salsa, bachata, merengue and kizomba.

Estrellas Buena Vista y Más

8:30pm to 10:30pm

The Cuban-inspired group, created in 2021 under the musical direction of renowned tres player Pancho Amat, brings together 16 musicians celebrating the richness of traditional and contemporary Cuban music.

Maquinaria Band

10:30pm to 12:30am

One of the Canary Islands’ most popular Latin and merengue orchestras. Led by Dominican musician Johnny Jiménez, the band has spent more than three decades entertaining audiences across the archipelago.

A Summer Celebration by the Sea

With live music, dancing and a unique all-white atmosphere beside the harbour, Santa Cruz aims to once again make this one of the standout events of the summer calendar.
