Valle de Guerra Celebrates Another Packed Night of Tradition at its Baile de Magos

Valle de Guerra once again proved why its Baile de Magos is one of the most loved traditional events in the northeast of Tenerife…

With thousands filling the village square on Saturday night for a celebration that carried on well into Sunday morning.

A Night Full of Canarian Tradition

Dressed in traditional Canarian clothing, residents and visitors gathered to enjoy an evening centred around:

🎶 Folklore and live music
💃 Traditional dancing
🍷 Local food and wine
🥘 Canarian gastronomy

Turning the heart of Valle de Guerra into one huge communal celebration.

Tables Filled with Traditional Food

As always, long tables packed with homemade dishes, local wine and traditional products became one of the main features of the night.

And honestly… half the atmosphere at these events comes from families and friends sharing food together.

Strong Community Spirit

The event forms part of the festivities honouring:

⛪ San Isidro Labrador
⛪ Santa María de la Cabeza

And continues to be one of the standout moments of the local fiesta programme each year.

Members of La Laguna’s municipal government also attended the celebrations alongside residents and visitors.

Keeping Traditions Alive

Beyond the music and festivities, the Baile de Magos remains one of the clearest examples of how Tenerife’s towns continue preserving local traditions and community identity.

Something that still matters a lot in places like Valle de Guerra.

Worth Knowing

These kinds of traditional fiestas are becoming increasingly popular again with younger generations too…

Which probably explains why the square keeps getting fuller every year.
