BTT Cycling Returns in La Esperanza… IX Juegos Máster Kick Off This Sunday

After being delayed due to the weather, the BTT cycling route for the IX Juegos Máster is finally going ahead… just in a different location.

Instead of La Guancha, it’ll now start in La Esperanza (El Rosario) this Sunday, 12th April.

The Route

  • 📍 Start: Plaza de La Fuente, La Esperanza
  • 🕙 Start time: 10:00 (meet at 09:00)
  • 🚴 Distance: 19 km (circular route)
  • ⏱️ Duration: Around 2.5 to 3 hours
  • 📊 Level: Medium / accessible for intermediate riders

It’s designed more as a recreational ride than a race… so no pressure, just a decent route through forest tracks and mountain paths.

Who Can Join

  • Free to enter
  • Open to anyone 30+
  • Limited spaces, first come first served

Registration closes Friday 10th April at 12:00, so not one to leave until the last minute.

A Few Things to Know

You’ll need to check in at 09:00 for registration, where they’ll hand out:

  • Race numbers
  • T-shirts
  • Water bottles

And if you sign up but can’t go… make sure you cancel in time, or you won’t be able to join other events in the series.

Worth It?

If you enjoy cycling and want something organised but not overly competitive, this is a good setup.

Fresh air, decent route, and a bit of structure without it feeling like a race.
