If you like burgers… or just food in general… Santa Cruz is going to be busy this weekend.
Burger Fest Canarias is back, and it’s taking over the Recinto Ferial from March 27th to 29th.
50 Stalls… So Come Hungry
There’ll be around 50 food stands set up.
Not just meaty burgers either… although that’s obviously the main event.
You’ve got vegan options, gluten-free choices, and enough variety that you won’t get bored after one lap.
Plus more than 50 beer taps and a section for Canarian wines… so you’re covered on that front as well.
The Big Name This Year
The headline act, food-wise, is Gotham Burger from New York.
First time they’ve come over to Europe… and they’ve picked Tenerife.
That alone will pull a crowd.
Alongside that, you’ve got plenty of local places showing what they can do… which is usually where you’ll find some of the best surprises.
It’s Not Just About Food
There’s music running across all three days.
Friday and Saturday go from 1pm until midnight.
Sunday wraps up a bit earlier at 11pm.
You’ve got DJs, live acts, and a mix of styles depending on the day.
The standout for many will be Los Sabandeños on Friday… not something you’d usually pair with burgers, but that’s half the appeal.
Easy Day Out
Entry is free.
There’s a kids’ area as well, so it’s not just aimed at groups or late nights.
You can turn up, have a wander, eat too much… and leave when you’ve had enough.
If You’re Going
Go early if you don’t like queues.
And don’t make the mistake of filling up at the first stand you see… do a lap first.
You’ll probably regret it if you don’t.
