Teide Wakes Up Covered in Snow After Storm Therese

Looks like the worst of Storm Therese has passed, and what’s been left behind is a completely different view up in Teide National Park.

The park has woken up covered in snow… proper winter conditions, not just a light dusting.

It’s one of those contrasts you only really get here. You can be sat in the south in a t-shirt, then drive an hour and you’re in snow and ice.

From what’s been shared, the storm’s done its damage and moved on, leaving clear skies and that crisp, bright light you get after bad weather… probably the best time to see the park, if you can get up there safely.

Worth noting though… roads up to Teide can get closed or restricted after conditions like this, so don’t just jump in the car and assume it’s fine.
