The Mi Barrio Es Cultura programme is heading back to Las Mercedes on 4 October, bringing a morning of culture and activities to the local neighbourhood.
The next event will take place at the Plaza de la Iglesia de Las Mercedes, with a programme called Dragones & Palmeras.
The idea is a simple one. Take culture out into the streets and bring it closer to the people who actually live there, creating a space where different generations can get together and enjoy the morning.
A morning in the neighbourhood
The event starts at 10am and is open to all ages.
If you’re around Las Mercedes on Sunday morning, it’s a chance to pop down to the square, have a look at what’s going on and enjoy a bit of local culture without having to venture into the city.
