The Patronal Holidays in honour of St. Michael the Archangel are about much more than simply having a good time. They are days to get together, catch up with friends and family, and keep alive the traditions that form part of San Miguel’s history and identity.
This Friday, 11 September, the Guargazo Festival ‘Eight Islands in Unison’ will bring an evening of music, folklore and plenty of Canarian spirit to the celebrations.
The festival promises a night to enjoy, share and celebrate the things that bring people together, with the traditions of the Canary Islands at the heart of the event.
The San Miguel de Abona Town Hall is inviting residents and visitors to come along to this special gathering, organised by AC Guargazal and District Theatre.
A good excuse to get out, enjoy some music and celebrate what makes San Miguel, well, San Miguel.
Long live San Miguel and long live our traditions!
