Summer Pop Tenerife 2026 is now heading into its final weeks, with tickets still available for the festival’s first edition at the Recinto Ferial in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
The festival takes place on Sunday, 13 September, bringing together a mixture of established Spanish artists, emerging names and musicians from the Canary Islands.
One of the big attractions is that several of the artists will make their only Canary Islands appearance of 2026 at Summer Pop Tenerife.
A varied lineup
Among the biggest names on the bill are Ruslana, La Pantera, Lucho RK, Álvaro de Luna and Leire Martínez, all of whom will perform exclusively at the festival in the Canaries this year.
They will be joined by Danny Romero, Locoplaya, Lewis Potter and Christian Cuervo, giving the event a fairly broad musical mix covering pop, urban music and electronic sounds.
There is also a strong local presence, with artists including Playacoco, Melania, Mel Ömana, Postcode, Fátima Falcón and Dellacruz.
For festival organisers, that combination of national and Canarian talent is an important part of what Summer Pop Tenerife is about.
Festival producer Enrique Camacho said the event is entering its final stretch, with the message to audiences being that many of the artists can only be seen in the Canaries at this festival.
Leire Martínez among the highlights
Leire Martínez is expected to be one of the most anticipated performances.
The singer arrives in Tenerife following a successful tour across America and at a particularly busy point in her career.
There will also be plenty of interest in performances from La Pantera, Lucho RK, Álvaro de Luna and Ruslana, all of whom are making their only Canary Islands appearance of the year at Summer Pop.
Tony Aguilar brings a radio feel
The festival will be presented by Tony Aguilar, the well-known Spanish radio presenter and DJ.
Rather than simply introducing each act, Aguilar will also DJ during the event, bringing current hits from LOS40 into the programme.
The idea is to give Summer Pop more of a live radio feel, with performances and music running throughout the day.
Camacho described the festival as a chance to bring together a broad selection of Spain’s current music scene, rather than simply putting on a series of separate concerts.
Six hours of music
The doors will open at 3.00pm, with around six hours of music and entertainment planned.
