Tacoronte gets into full fiesta mode this September with the Fiestas Mayores del Santísimo Cristo de los Dolores, running from 13 to 28 September 2026.
It’s a busy couple of weeks, with a programme covering pretty much everything you’d expect from a major local fiesta.
A packed programme
There will be galas, live concerts, religious events, competitions, exhibitions and cultural shows, along with sporting activities and events aimed at getting local residents involved.
As always, the Santísimo Cristo de los Dolores remains at the heart of the celebrations and is the main focus of the religious and traditional side of the fiestas.
The programme has been organised under the coordination of the Tacoronte Department of Fiestas and Citizen Participation, with events taking place throughout the municipality.
If you live in or around Tacoronte, September is certainly not going to be short of things to do.
