La Orotava Summer Concerts Finish with 80s, 90s and 2000s Pop-Rock

The summer concert series in La Orotava is coming to an end this Saturday, 5 September, with a night dedicated to some of the biggest pop-rock hits from the 80s, 90s and 2000s.

The final concert will take place at 22:30, which is a change from the usual day and time for the series.

El Coyote Cojo Live

For the closing night, El Coyote Cojo will take to the stage for a live set packed with familiar pop and rock classics.

And this one is designed to be a bit more energetic than the previous concerts.

There won’t be rows of chairs filling the venue this time. A limited number will be available around the sides, but most of the space will be left open so people can sing, jump around and enjoy the concert on their feet.

Which, let’s be honest, is probably the better arrangement when you’re playing 80s, 90s and 2000s rock.

Free Entry

The concert will be held at Plaza de la Constitución, 6, La Orotava.

Entry is free, although access will be subject to the venue reaching its capacity.

The organisers are encouraging people to bring along anyone who knows all the words to the classic pop and rock songs. There will presumably be plenty of opportunities to test that claim.
