Edu Soto is heading back to Tenerife with a show that sounds about as predictable as a Spanish council office opening on time.
The comedian, actor, singer and general all-round entertainer will perform Más vale solo que ciento volando Revolution at the Paraninfo of the University of La Laguna on 5 September at 8:30pm.
The show combines monologues, musical comedy, improvisation and plenty of interaction with the audience. Soto is also known for disappearing into a collection of different characters, so it is unlikely to be an evening where everyone simply sits quietly and watches a man tell jokes for 90 minutes.

The idea behind the show is simple enough. Soto is on stage alone, exploring his art, his imagination and the various “birds” flying around inside his head. Which, judging by his career, appears to be quite a crowded place.
Expect singing, dancing, comedy and plenty of moments where nobody, possibly including Soto himself, is entirely sure what will happen next.
More than just a comedian
Although many people know Edu Soto for his comedy, his career has taken him through film, television, theatre and musicals.
Originally from Catalonia and now based in Madrid, he has built a reputation as one of Spain’s more versatile performers. He sings, acts, plays music, dances and improvises, and has appeared in everything from mainstream comedy to classical theatre.
Not a bad collection of skills to have when most of us struggle to remember why we walked into the kitchen.
