If you’re looking for something to do in San Miguel de Abona on Friday evening, El Roque has a new one for you.
The Plaza de El Roque will host the first edition of ‘Tapas y Vino’ on Friday, 14 August, combining local food, wine and live music in what sounds like a fairly straightforward recipe for a good evening.
The event is organised by A.F. San Roque, in collaboration with the San Miguel de Abona Town Council.

Things get started from 20:00, with the square becoming the setting for an evening centred around gastronomy and local entertainment.
The programme includes performances from:
- Francisco Rodríguez (Paco)
- Grupo Acorde
- Los Vandals
So there should be plenty going on once the tapas start arriving.
A new event for El Roque
This is the first edition of Tapas y Vino, adding another food and cultural event to San Miguel de Abona’s summer programme.
It’s the sort of event that works well in a village square. A few tapas, a glass of wine, some live music and a chance to catch up with people.
