Tuesday 21st July: Tigran Hamasyan
The week begins with a performance by acclaimed Armenian pianist and composer Tigran Hamasyan.
Known for blending jazz with Armenian folk traditions and contemporary influences, Hamasyan has built a reputation as one of the most innovative pianists on today’s jazz scene.
The concert forms part of the 35th Festival Internacional Canarias Jazz & Más and begins at 8.00pm.
Wednesday 22nd July: Jacob Collier
On Wednesday evening, Grammy Award-winning musician Jacob Collier takes to the stage as part of the same festival.
Collier is renowned for his unique mix of jazz, pop, funk and classical music, earning a worldwide following for his extraordinary musicianship and live performances.
The concert starts at 8.00pm, although anyone hoping to grab a ticket has unfortunately missed out, as the event is already sold out.
Friday 24th July: Mapas 26 comes to a close
The week finishes with Bodies of Water, the final performance of the Mapas 26 festival.
Presented by DTH – Dance Theatre Heidelberg, the production features choreography by Iván Pérez, offering a contemporary dance performance that explores movement, emotion and human connection.
The performance begins at 7.30pm.
