Playa de las Américas will once again become a showcase of Indian culture on 18th and 19th July with the return of the XV India Festival – Ratha Yatra Tenerife, bringing two days of music, dance, gastronomy and traditional celebrations to the municipality of Arona.
Organised with the support of the Autonomous Tourism Organisation of Arona Town Hall, the festival invites both residents and visitors to enjoy one of the island’s most colourful multicultural events.
This year’s programme will feature a wide range of activities celebrating India’s rich cultural heritage, including traditional performances, live music, dance displays and authentic Indian cuisine.
The event will also host the IX Arona Yogafest, offering yoga activities alongside food tastings and a varied programme designed for all ages, making it an ideal family-friendly weekend.
The annual festival has become one of Arona’s most distinctive cultural events, promoting diversity and providing visitors with the opportunity to experience Indian traditions in the heart of Tenerife.
