The IX Tenerife Masters Games will kick off their water sports programme with a Paddle Surf and Kayak Day on Sunday, 21 June 2026, at Las Teresitas Beach in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
Starting at 10:00am, participants will have the opportunity to discover two of the island’s most popular water sports in a fun and relaxed environment designed for adults aged 30 and over.
Learn, Enjoy and Get Active
The session is aimed at beginners and those looking to become familiar with paddle surfing and kayaking.
Participants will be divided into two groups and organised into two consecutive sessions, allowing everyone to experience both activities during the morning.
While instructors will teach the basics of handling a paddle board and a kayak, the emphasis will be firmly on enjoyment, participation and discovering the sport in a friendly atmosphere.
Free Registration
Participation is completely free.
The only requirement is that participants must be 30 years of age or older.
Registration opens on Monday, 8 June at 8:00am and closes on Friday, 19 June at 12:00pm.
Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Important Information
Participants who register but later find they cannot attend must cancel their booking before 12:00pm on 19 June through the registration platform.
Organisers have confirmed that participants who fail to cancel their place may be excluded from taking part in other Masters Games activities, helping ensure places can be offered to people on the waiting list.
