La Laguna will once again bring together residents, families and community groups for the third Solidarity March Against LGBTI+phobia, taking place on 21 June 2026 as part of the municipality’s La Laguna Orgullosa 2026 programme.
Organised by the Autonomous Sports Organisation (OAD) in collaboration with the City Council’s Equality and LGBTI Department, the event combines solidarity, community participation and a clear message in favour of diversity, inclusion and respect.
A Walk for Equality and Inclusion
The non-competitive march will begin at 11:00am from Calle Obispo Rey Redondo, next to La Laguna Town Hall.
Participants will complete an accessible 820-metre route through the historic centre, starting and finishing in the same location.
Designed as a community event rather than a sporting competition, the march aims to bring together people of all ages in support of equality and against discrimination.

The participation fee is €8, with all proceeds being donated to the TLP Impulso Association.

The march forms part of the wider La Laguna Orgullosa 2026 programme, which includes a variety of activities focused on visibility, inclusion and support for the LGBTI+ community.
Municipal representatives have highlighted the continued growth of the initiative, which has become an established event within the town’s Pride celebrations.

The event serves as a reminder of the importance of continuing efforts to combat discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.
By combining participation, visibility and fundraising for a social cause, the march offers residents an opportunity to actively support a more inclusive and respectful society.
