This isn’t a small win…
They’ve taken first place overall.
The Ranking
According to the CMB Turismo 2026 report:
- Loro Parque Group → 🥇 1st place
- Poema del Mar → 3rd
- Siam Park → 4th
Three brands in the Top 5…
That’s not luck.
What It Says
It’s a clear signal of where things are heading:
Less focus on volume… more on quality and experience.
And that’s exactly where they’ve positioned themselves.
Not Just Parks
It’s not only about attractions.
Hotel Botánico also made the list, sitting comfortably among the top-performing hotels on the islands.
So it’s spread across:
- Theme parks
- Experiences
- Hospitality
All under the same group.
The Digital Side
One thing that stood out in the report:
AI visibility
Loro Parque Group came out as the most recommended brand online when people search for things to do in the Canary Islands.
Which matters more than people realise.
The Bigger Picture
Tourism now makes up:
- 35.6% of the Canary Islands’ GDP
- Over €23 billion in revenue
So being top of that pile…
Isn’t a small position.
Worth Knowing
A lot of the sector is still lagging behind digitally…
Slow websites, poor mobile experience, outdated systems.
Meanwhile, Loro Parque Group seems to be leaning into:
- Tech
- Visibility
- And overall experience
Which is probably why they’re where they are.
