Explore Anaga Without Limits… An Inclusive Hiking Route in La Laguna

Anaga isn’t the easiest place to walk… especially if mobility is an issue.

That’s exactly what this is trying to fix.

On April 25, La Laguna is running a guided, adapted hiking route through the Hija Cambada trail… right in the heart of Anaga.

What Makes It Different

This isn’t a standard walk.

It’s designed to be accessible and inclusive, including the use of a Joëlette… a specialised mountain chair that allows people with reduced mobility to take part.

So it opens up parts of the island that aren’t usually accessible.

The Route

The trail runs through dense laurisilva forest… proper Anaga scenery.

Think:

  • Thick green canopy
  • Native plant life
  • Quiet paths you wouldn’t normally reach

It’s around 2.7 km, so manageable.

The Details

📅 April 25
⏰ Departure: 09:00 (Plaza del Adelantado)

Nothing extreme… just common sense for Anaga.

Final Thought

Anaga is one of the best parts of Tenerife… but not everyone gets to experience it properly.

This is a good step towards changing that.
