From 27th to 29th March, the Santa Cruz Fairground is turning into a full-on food and music setup.
Free entry, which helps.
Over 40 food trucks and restaurant stalls will be there, each bringing their own take on a “gourmet burger”. Some using local ingredients, some trying to reinvent the wheel… you’ll get a mix.
There’s also:
- Craft beer… over 50 taps apparently
- Wine area with Canarian and international options
- Dessert stands for when you’ve overdone it on burgers
- Kids’ zone, if you’re not going solo
They’ve even brought in Gotham Burger Social Club from New York, which is either going to be excellent… or just very well marketed. We’ll see.

Look, these things can be great… or they can be a bit of a queue simulator with loud music.
If you go early, you’ll eat well and avoid the chaos.
If you go later, expect more atmosphere… and more waiting.
Either way, it’s something different on the island for a few days, and with free entry, you’re not risking much.
