If you enjoy getting out on the bike and you’re over 30, this might be worth putting in the diary.
Registrations have opened for the first BTT cycle touring route as part of the IX Tenerife Master Games, and this one takes riders through the forests above La Guancha.
Nothing too competitive. It’s more about getting out, riding through the mountains and enjoying the day.

The ride will take place on:

- Start time: 10:00am
- Starting point: Área Recreativa El Lagar, La Guancha
The event is aimed at mountain bike enthusiasts aged 30 and over, and the focus is on participation rather than racing.

The Juegos Máster are designed to encourage people over 30 to stay active through sport, with events held across different disciplines during the year.
And if you’ve ever ridden the forest tracks around La Guancha, you’ll know it’s a great area for mountain biking. Pine forests, quiet trails and views across the north of the island when the clouds behave themselves.
