Every year there are a few events on the local calendar that people in Tenerife look forward to… and for many women in Tacoronte, this one is right near the top of the list.
The Tacoronte City Hall Equality Department, led by councillor Vanessa Luis-Ravelo, has announced the Women’s Day Trip 2026, which will take place on Sunday, April 12.
This year’s excursion will travel through the beautiful La Orotava Valley, with the main stop in the historic town of La Orotava itself.
After the visit, participants will head to Finca Las Molinas de Palo Blanco in Los Realejos, where the group will enjoy lunch along with live music, a prize draw and plenty of entertainment throughout the afternoon.
The event has become a bit of a tradition over the years and is one of the most anticipated activities organised by Tacoronte’s Equality Department.
Registration will take place from March 30 to April 3 at the La Dome space in Plaza de La Estación, with opening hours from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 17:00 to 20:00.
The registration fee includes transport by guagua (coach), a guided route, breakfast, lunch at the finca, organised activities and liability insurance.
As with previous years, places are limited, so anyone interested in joining the trip will need to sign up during the registration period.
If you’re looking for a day out, good company and a bit of fun while exploring one of Tenerife’s most beautiful valleys, this might be one to keep an eye on.
