Carnival season is well and truly underway in Los Cristianos… and tomorrow’s event is a lovely one.
On Friday 13th March there’s the Carnival Dance for the Elders, part of the International Carnival of Los Cristianos. An afternoon of music, dancing, costumes and a good bit of laughter.
I always like events like this because it shows something people often miss about Tenerife. Carnival isn’t just loud music, late nights and tourists in wigs… it’s also the locals getting together, having a dance and enjoying themselves properly.
And quite right too.

🕺 Carnival Dance for the Elders
📅 Friday 13th March
Expect music, colour, a few impressive costumes and probably some dance moves that put the younger crowd to shame.
Dancing, after all, doesn’t come with an age limit.
If you’re around Los Cristianos tomorrow afternoon, it’s well worth popping down and soaking up the atmosphere.
