Abubukaka Live – 21 March in El Sauzal

Things like this are exactly why living here isn’t just about the weather…

You’ve got random nights out like this popping up, and if you don’t keep an eye out, you miss them.

Saturday 21st March, 8pm – Teatro El Sauzal

Abubukaka are back with their show Foscurí.

If you’ve never seen them before, it’s not your typical “sit there politely and clap” kind of night. It’s a bit chaotic, a bit ridiculous, and very Canarian in its humour.

From what I’ve heard, they take the usual day-to-day nonsense… twist it… exaggerate it… and somehow make it make sense in the most absurd way possible.

It’s one of those shows where you’ll either love it or sit there wondering what on earth is going on… but most people end up laughing.

Worth going?

If your Spanish is decent, definitely.

If it’s not… you might still enjoy it, but you’ll probably miss half the jokes and just laugh when everyone else does… which, to be fair, is what a lot of people do anyway.

Tickets

They’re down to the last few by the look of it… which is usually how these things go here. Plenty of time… until suddenly there isn’t.
